ABOUT LJK (Lok Jagruti Kendra)
Lok Jagruti Kendra (LJK) is a charitable trust and
registered society. It was founded in the year 1980 by
eminent academician, Prof. B. M. Peerzada (former
Dean, Commerce faculty, Gujarat University). LJK
has around 16 institutes at graduate and postgraduate level in technical & commerce faculties.
ABOUT L J Institute of Pharmacy
L.J. Institute of Pharmacy is one of the leading self
financed pharmacy colleges approved by AICTE and
PCI and affiliated to GTU (Gujarat Technological
University) in Ahmedabad. The institutes
established in the year 2004, is located in a
picturesque lush green area of around 16 acres in the
heart of Ahmedabad. Within a short span of 9 years,
the institute has made significant progress and is
considered to be one of the best institutes in
Ahmadabad. The real strength of the institute is a
proactive management, dynamic, committed,
qualified, and disciplined staff. The institute offers 4
years B.Pharm course and also M.Pharm Courses in

ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Rapid strides are being made in the field of medicinal
chemistry, analytical chemistry and biomedical
analysis. With the unravelling of newer molecular
targets and various disease conditions, scientists are
making concerted efforts in bringing out newer and
safer medicines.
Nano Technology, QSAR,
Molecular Modeling, Green Chemistry, Protein
analysis, Bio-Technology derived products,
Computer Aided Drug Design (CADD), chiral
compounds & their separation, all are being actively
researched in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry.
The aim of this seminar is to make researchers,
students and faculty familiar with these
developments.

intimated through E-mail by 22nd January 2014.
◘ Only one certificate will be given to be
Presenting author for each accepted abstract.
Guidelines for Preparing the Abstract
Title: The complete title of the abstract should be
typed in Times New Roman using 12 font size
and in bold case.
Authors and co-authors:
◘ Name(s) of the author(s) and address with
affiliation Contact Mo. should be written below
the title.
◘ Maximum 4 authors per abstract.
◘ The presenting author's name must be
highlighted.
Abstract
The abstract should not exceed 250 words, typed
in Times New Roman using font size 12.
Guidelines for Poster presentation
◘ The size of the poster should be 90 cm width and
120 cm height.
◘ Only vertical formats accepted.
◘ Content of the poster should be Legible from a
distance of 1.5 meter. (Font Size Should be 32)
◘ Presenting author will have to bring his/her own
requirements for fixing the poster.
