Circular
All the principals/Directors of the colleges affiliated to Gujarat Technological University are
hereby informed that the University has decided to allow the colleges to offer an Elective
subject over and above the ones prescribed by the University.
The Head of the Department of the concerned college may allow the competent faculty member
to frame the syllabus of an Elective subject which could be offered to atleast 10 students of the
college. The proposal of draft syllabus so prepared shall be submitted for prior permission to the
University. The University shall review the proposal and accept it, if deemed fit. The University
will also suggest the name of the experts for the evaluation.
