Sub: Organizing Industrial Visits
All the Principals/Directors of the colleges affiliated to Gujarat Technological University are
hereby informed to organize industrial visits relevant to the subjects taught in the current
semester so that the students can better learn theoretical aspects of technology. Industrial
interaction plays a very important role in the understanding of the various subjects. The
industrial visits must be relevant and subject specific. Eg. Visit to the Waste Water Treatment
plants, Dam sites, Airports, Construction sites, etc. for Civil Engineering students. University
expects that institutes arranges 1-2 visits per class in each semester.
The institutes are hereby instructed to submit the Report on such Industrial Visits at the email
id of the respective sections of the University in order to get it uploaded on the University
website.
