PRIDE FOR GTU- DR. TEJAL R. GANDHI –Principal, Anand Pharmacy College, Anand & Pharmacy Dean, Zone-3, GTU have bagged “PHARMACY TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2011-12” given by Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) Recently, 8th National level felicitation program organized by 54th IPC (Indian Pharmaceutical Congress) trust has awarded “PHARMACY TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2011-12” to Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi – Principal, Anand Pharmacy College, run by Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal. This award session was scheduled in the annual meet of Indian Pharmaceutical Congress trust held at Pune. Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi have been received this award by Shri Anant Deshmukh, Director – Maharashtra chamber of commerce industries and agriculture, Pune, and in presence of Dr. Vasudev Gade, Vice-chancellor, Pune University. For said award, IPC trust called application from teachers of all over the Indian Pharmacy Institutes. Award given to eligible teacher based on criteria assigned and thorough scrutiny done by IPC trust. Selection criteria considered like, extra ordinary contribution & dedication in pharmacy, novelty development in research sector, development in students’ career, awareness catered for uplift of pharmacy field, social applicability of pharmacy and teaching task, etc. Total no. of Pharmacy Institute in India: 928, Total Pharmacy Institute in Gujarat: 83. Among all these institutes’ teachers, Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi have been selected for aforementioned award.
