Let’s communicate
for GTU pass outs on
18th and 19th November, 2013
Gujarat Technological University is established by Government of Gujarat by
Gujarat Act no. 20/2007 and subsequent to its establishment, University has
already completed two convocations whereby more than one lakh students have
been awarded degrees in the field of engineering, pharmacy, business studies and
computer applications.
In a survey made by the GTU Alumni Association, it has come to the knowledge
that few pass outs have not been employed and those who are already employed
have not been employed appropriately. Though the pass outs possess requisite
University education and a degree, they still need to be molded for enhancing their
employability.
Gujarat Technological University has, therefore, designed a Training program
(phase wise) for all the graduates/post graduates (whether he/she is a member of
GTU Alumni Association or otherwise) for imparting training in the areas of:




Spoken English
Personality development
Interview facing techniques
Soft skills development
The training will be conducted by Shri Ashish J. Soni who is a renowned
motivator, trainer as well as a social worker and has organized number of such
programs for 8 years in USA and 9 years in India.
He is very successful, energetic corporate trainer who has already trained more
than 62500 students of 70 colleges affiliated to GTU. After successful training, the
trainer has consented to upload the resume to more than 54 companies and a few
placement consultants on behalf of the GTU Alumni Association
It is also proposed to plan in the interest of GTU’s alumni for organizing students’
visa fair and such other activities for studies in abroad.
A certificate of training will be issued by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, GTU to the
alumni who have successfully completed the training program.
The registration can be made on or before 15th November, 2013 by filling up the

The registration is on a first come first basis and the confirmed registered names
will be uploaded on the same website. A nominal registration fee of Rs. 100/- for
two days can be paid on November 18, 2013 at the venue itself during registration.
The time for the program for both the days is 10 am to 4 pm and the venue for the
training program is GTU Chandkheda.
