BVM, the first engineering college of
Gujarat State, was established by Charutar
Vidya Mandal (CVM) in 1948, with the
blessings of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,
aimed at developing the skilled workforce
to support the economic and social
development of India. Since then the
college has continuously evolved to meet
the changes, challenges and opportunities
in the field of Engineering. This premier
college of technological education has
around 20000 alumni who have made

Advanced Engineering Mathematics:
Project - Implementation and
Deliverables
GTU has recently revised the curriculum
of 3rd semester Degree Engineering of
Mathematics Subject. The revised course
is titled as ‘Advanced Engineering
Mathematics (130002)’. It has been for
the first time that a “Project” in
Mathematics is introduced in GTU
curriculum. The workshop is aimed at to
develop a common view point to
implement a project and analyze its
output. To serve the purpose, it is planned
to arrange expert talks as well as an open
house discussion where every participant’s
suggestion can be discussed at length.
