Circular for establishing MWTC in every College/ Institute, affiliated with GTU
Gujarat Technological University has been working since August 2011 in the field of Mobile
Technologies. GTU’s Master’s program in Wireless Mobile Computing was started in August 2011. At
the Colleges, workshops on different aspects of mobile technology have been regularly organized.
Now it has been decided that a Mobile and Wireless Technologies Club (MWTC) may be
established at every College/ Institute so that regular activities in various aspects of
mobile technology can be organized. For this purpose, the UDISHA Club at every
College/ Institute should work to form the MWTC.
Overall Activities of the MWTC Club:
 Workshops on application development on various mobile platforms
 Workshops on different aspects of Mobile Technology
 Creating software and hardware for social causes
 Any other relevant activities of interest to students or faculty members
MWTC may work in collaboration with Mobile Monday Club (http://momo-ahmedabad.in/).
Procedure to Start MWTC activities at your College:
 The Principal is the Patron of MWTC.
 The Principal will appoint a Faculty Coordinator and a Student Coordinator for the Club.
 The Executive Committee (EC) may consist of one or more Faculty members and student
members. Not more than half the students may be from the Final Year.
After MWTC is formed, please send the contact details (Name, e-mail, mobile number,
address etc) of the Faculty Coordinator, the Student Coordinator and the Members of the
EC to:
