Skyfi Labs
Skyfi Labs (www.skyfilabs.com) is a venture founded and run by alumni of IIT Kanpur and funded by
The Chennai Angels. They work with a vision of increasing the skills and employability of Indian
engineering students through hands-on technical training programs.
They develop and deliver courses in the fields of Mech, Aero, ECE, EEE, Civil, CS & IT, which are
relevant to and certified by industry partners. The programs are modularized into 2-3 day ProjectBased Training sessions, which are multi-disciplinary and are structured to supplement the
curriculum prescribed by the respective universities. They also have an online exam portal that
grades the application-based learning pertinent to the training program.
Each student's performance in different settings is recorded over a course of 3 years and his "grade
card" will be made visible to prospective recruiters depending on the student's competencies.
Skyfi Labs' team have trained more than 20000 students in more than 150 engineering institutions
across India, most of which are from Tier II & Tier III. They are associated with organizations like
Boeing India, Altair Engineering, Stratasys and premier institutes like IITs, IISc, IIST & NITs that act
like knowledge partners, certification providers, competition partners etc.
