CIRCULAR
It is hereby informed to all the Principals and Directors of the institutes affiliated to Gujarat Technological
University to observe following norms for Guideship and allocation of number of students per guide for
M.E. /M. Pharm. thesis work:
1) Teacher with minimum five years of teaching experience at Undergraduate level or minimum three years
of teaching experience at Postgraduate level and shall be eligible for M.E./ M.Pharm Guideship.
2) Teacher shall be allocated students in his /her area of expertise/ specialization only.
3) Number of students allotted per guide would be as follows:

4) Teachers having minimum three years of teaching experience at undergraduate level can become co-guide
for two students.
