Open Source Technology Club of Sabar Institute of Technology for Girls Celebrated International Girls in
ICT Day 2015. The programme started with the Welcome Speech by Mr. Vinod Thummar, HOD of
Computer Engineering Department. It was followed by the enthusiastic speech of Principal Sabar
institute of Technology for Girls Dr. Rajeev Vaghmare, he described the Role of innovation and its impact
towards changing Society. The Invited Guest and Speaker of the Programme was Dr. Priyanka Sharma,
Professor – Information Technology, Raksha Shakti University. Dr. Pryinaka presented and motivated the
students on her views on the theme of the Celebration “Girls and Woman and Innovation”. The Session
ended with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Amit Joshi, Nodal Center Coordinator, GTU OSTC Himmat Nagar
Sankul.
Two Technical Competitions including Like It or Poke It and Technical Quiz Competition were organized
on the occasion, in which nearly 150 Students participated with full enthusiasm.
