Circular
Sub: Rules for clearance of stage I (from sem1 to sem6) in order to be eligible for stage II (from sem7
onwards) of bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) Programme.
This is to inform to the principals of all Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) colleges affiliated with GTU to
follow the rules for clearance of stage I (from sem1 to sem6) in order to be eligible for stage II (from sem7
onwards) of bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) Programme, as per this circular.
The rules are that if any student fails in any head of passing at any previous examination including sixth
semester examination, i.e. in any of the subjects listed as under:
1. Architectural Design I,II,III,IV,V, VI;
2. Building Construction I,II,III,IV,V,VI;
3. Structure I,II,III,IV,V,and VI,
S/he would not be granted the academic term of seventh semester as approved which is practical training
semester.
However, B.Arch. General Rules no: Arch 7 wide Circular no:GTU/Arch/B.arch/689 dated 21st January 2014
is also applicable for consideration of student to be detained.
The above norms shall be applicable from Academic year 2015-16
