As per the Guidelines of Honorable Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Technological University Dr. Akshai
Aggrawal & Support and Encouragement of Principal Dr. K.H.Wandra(Chairman of OSTC Surendranagar
Sankul), we at C.U.Shah College of Engineering & Technology Wadhwancity Gujarat, had set up an Open
Source Technologies Club (OSTC) at our institute in collaboration with Team Spoken-tutorial, IIT
Bombay. GTU had setup Nodal Centers of OSTCs(ref:http://www.gtu.ac.in/circulars/14Apr/23042014.pdf)
and now, C.U.Shah College of Engineering & Technology is GTU OSTC Nodal Centre for Surendranagar
Sankul and Prof. Yagnesh Parmar is GTU OSTC Nodal Centre Coordinator.
We had conducted Series of workshops on Libre Office Suitebase, Latex, Scilab, and C Language in EC
Department for BE SEM IV, VI, VII and ME SEM IV as well as M.Tech SEM II students from 27th Jan 2014
to 20th Feb 2014 followed by the online test conducted from 1st Apr 2014 to 7th Apr 2014.
