Spoken Tutorial Workshop on JAVA
Valia Institute of Technology, Valia had organized workshop on Java under OSTC for 4th year 8th sem
computer engineering students on 5th march 2014, Thursday. 30 students had participated in java
workshop. Since java is a free and open source, high level, simple as well as Object Oriented
Programming Language, the information gained by our students is useful for further technical aspects. In
this workshop students learned Java eclipse installation for window as well linux, solved assignment and
tutorial also.

Spoken Tutorial Workshop on Scilab
Workshop on Scilab for 3th year 6th sem Mechanical engineering students was organized on
7th march 2014, Friday. 35 students were participated in Scilab workshop. Since scilab is useful
for mathematical and scientific calculation, open source is substitute for MATLAB. The
information gained by our students is useful for further technical aspects .In this workshop,
students learned Scilab assignments, Tutorials and performed practically also.

Spoken Tutorial Workshop Report on C/C++
Workshop on C and C++ for 3rd year 6th sem Electronics and Communication Engineering
students was organized on 10th march 2014, Monday. 28 students were participated in C and
C++ workshop. Since Powerful features, simple syntax, and portability make C a preferred
language among programmers, for business and industrial applications. Widely used in the
development of operating systems. The information gained by our students is useful for further
technical aspects. In workshop, students learned about C and C++ features, assignments and
tutorial team.
