Evaluation Guidelines for IDPs / UDPs
for the Final Year Project Examination
th
of B.E. 8 Semester students
for Academic Year 2013-2014

Applicable to all students who are doing:
1. yearlong project during semester VII and semester VIII or
2. different projects during semester VII and semester VIII or
3. project with the same team or with any change in team members or
4. project with any change in definition, in company or in any other item.

For Projects (IDP/UDP), every student has to score 50% marks in each of the heads of
IDP/UDP project definition (out of 50 marks) and university evaluation (evaluated by
project guide and external examiner) (out of 100 marks).

Industry based external guide may be invited, by the Principal/ Director of the College/
Institute, for evaluation of 100 mark project exam. (Involvement by industry mentors
must be encouraged).

The students have to submit the Project report before the University Viva Examination to
the concerned department.
