GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY Open Source Technologies Club (OSTC) Announcement of Faculty Development Program On LaTeX, Scilab, Basic IT Skills, Linux, Java, C/C++ and many more Softwares from Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay Gujarat Technological University has introduced Open Source Technologies Club (OSTC) for all GTU affiliated colleges. Now to utilize summer vacation, GTU affiliated college can organize Faculty Development Program at their campus with the help of IITB Spoken tutorial team under OSTC. Objective: The Faculty Development Program (FDP) is aims to promote Faculty growth towards the ultimate benefit in the classroom for the students. Besides upgrading their teaching, training and research skills teachers will come to know of the latest in ICT enabled learning and useful Open Source software. Training Highlights: 2 hours training in individual college campus via distance learning mode. Training material will be given to all the faculties (CDs,Leaflet). After training, feedback from 2-3 faculty members can be sent to IIT Bombay. The Certificate will be given to all faculties after training. To conduct an FDP, a college requires 5-10 Computer system with earphones.
