Confluence: The Art & Science of Designing Question Papers
The Gujarat Technological University has taken initiative for the task related to “The Art &
Science of Designing Question Papers’ “ for various programmes. The second step event for MBA was
arranged regarding “contribution in upgrading the pedagogy and to decide appropriate
testing method for the MBA programs “, On Date:10/06/2014, between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at
Gujarat Technological University,Nr.Vishwakarma Government Engineering College Nr.Visat Three Roads,
Visat - Gandhinagar HighwayChandkheda, Ahmedabad – 382424 .
Dr. G.P Vadodaria (I/C REGISTRAR) sir addressed the event exploring the importance of the
balanced question paper .He highlighted the main points to be kept in mind , such as total syllabus coverage
, non repeatability in questions , proper testing of students in different knowledge levels while designing
question papers. He also suggested the faculties to give enough time for designing a question paper so that
the proper format can be followed.
Dr.Shailendra Gupta (REGISTRAR) from Calorex Teachers University shared his views about
contribution in upgrading the pedagogy for the MBA programs..
Prof. Bharat Dalal(IIM) shared his views regarding how to decide appropriate
testing
method for the MBA programs.
In future event model question papers would be designed
/ discussed /finalised and then would be made available
to students / faculties latest by first week of August.
