An Appeal
GTU Fund for Uttarakhand
Due to a natural calamity, thousands of lives have been lost in Uttarakhand and
many families have been shattered. The age-old four ‘dhams’ have suffered
major damages. It is our duty to come forward and contribute our mite so that life
in the area can be rebuilt.
Professor B.M.Peerzada has offered that L.J. Trust will take the first step by
contributing a sum of Rs. 1 lakh for the GTU fund, which we are setting up for
Uttarakhand. The amount will be deposited in the Gujarat Chief Minister’s Fund
for use in Utarakhand.
I, therefore, appeal to the entire community of GTU to donate to the GTU Fund
for Uttarakhand.
You can deposit your donation at the University’s Accounts counter. Or you can
send the donation through a Demand draft in favour of Gujarat Technological
University Fund for Uttarakhand (GTUFU), payable at Ahmedabad.
Let all the Colleges, faculty members, parents of our students, university and
College employees and all other members of the GTU family do nate as much as
they can for this worthy cause so that GTU can put together an amount,
appropriate for this great University. The names of the donors, who donate Rs
50,000 or more will be published on the Donor’s List on our web-site.
