Learning Management System - Web and Mobile Application Development
Under the Active Learning-Creating Excitement in the classroom project, GTU has decided to develop a
“Learning Management System (LMS) for CPU” for assisting the learning processes. LMS will help
connect the students and faculties across the state for better knowledge sharing as well as for making
the teaching-learning process more interactive and exciting.
Mr. Satvik V. Khara, HOD, IT- Silver Oak College of Engg. & Tech. has come forward to accept the
responsibility as the Coordinator – LMS, Live projects for CPU. The development of LMS for CPU will
provide opportunities to students to learn while working on a live project.
Students from final year, who want to participate in development of the LMS projects, may apply to
[email protected] . The students, who are short-listed for the project, may be able to use it as the IDP for
their Final Year Project.
Please apply on or before Date 03/07/2012, 11:00 am (1st Phase) if you fulfill the following
requirements:
Requirement: Students should be from GTU affiliated institute. An applicant should be sound in web
application or mobile application development.
Technical Skills required from the students:
1. For Web Applications: Web designing/PHP/JS/MySql (Must be sound in at least one of these
technologies.)
2. For Mobile Applications: Android/iPhone/Cross platform technologies like PhoneGap etc.
3. Students who have already worked on live projects will be preferred.
