Traveling Allowance Norms:
1. Expert can travel in the railway first class.
2. If travel is made by any other mode actual fare can be claimed maximum to the limit of first
class railway fare.
3. If travel is made in the class below first class then actual fare is admissible.
4. If person travels by own care then maximum permissible fare is equivalent to railway first
class.
5. When two experts from same city comes to the same exam center on the same day, only one
car at the maximum rate of Rs.4/- per km is admissible.
6. Rate of DA per day is Rs.150/- for the external examiner.
7. Within the same city or town DA rates are not applicable. Local TA of Rs. 75 is admissible
for pharmacy practical exams in such cases.
