LIST OF WORKSHOPS TO BE CONDUCTED THROUGH AVIEW DURING
GTU's RESEARCH WEEK
GTU's Research Week - a major event in the Research Calendar of Higher Education in India –
begins today, Tuesday, 17th March 2015. With 400 foreign and Indian professors from outside
Gujarat, about 108 Workshop scheduled and hundreds of industry professionals (through nearly
every association like IEEE involved in bringing local industry personnel to review the research
work), GTU Research Week represents an even truly on a grand scale. The effort is to mentor and
review the doctoral and master's thesis so that quality of our research week excels.
It is understood that not every research student – PhD or Master's would be in a position to travel
to GTU Chandkheda during the Research Week to attend the expert talk of his/her interest. To disseminate the knowledge on a grand scale, GTU is proud to announce that most of the expert talks
would be broadcast live through AVIEW. Students in any institute affiliated to GTU could raise
their hands and ask questions that would be answered live by the expert.
Currently, AVIEW has been set up in three Seminar Halls in the GTU premises – with a scope to
extend it to six at a later date. Since the number of concurrent sessions each day may exceed
three, based on popular demand, three expert talks would be chosen to be broadcast through
AVIEW on that particular date. Research students are requested to check at 3:00 PM through
AVIEW in their respective institutes to learn about the sessions that are scheduled to be
broadcast.
