This is to inform to all the Principal/director of B.Pharm./M.Pharm. colleges that kindly see
the UGC’s guidelines for discontinuation of dissections of live animals in the laboratories
in a phased manner. Please see said UGC’s guideline from below link:

Further, as mentioned in above guidelines also constitute “Dissection monitoring
committee (DMC)” as per UGC guideline at your institute over and above “Institutional
Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC)” as per CPCSEA guideline.
Please keep ready documents related to newly constituted DMC ready at the time of
upcoming LIC inspection at your institute.
