Sub: Rejuvenation of GTU-Financial Services Skills Council (GTU-FSSC)
As you are aware that GTU has established three different skill councils namely, GTUFinancial Services Skills Council (GTU-FSSC), GTU-Council for Human Resource Studies and
Organizational Structures (GTU-CHRSOS) and GTU-Skill Council for Marketing (GTU-SCM).
The core objectives of FSSC are  To increase the employability of the students graduating from Management Schools.
 To facilitate the students in getting valuable assignments for Summer Internship.
 To jointly develop Case Studies.
 To develop Industry- Institute- Interaction and focus on skills rather than functions.
 To identify sub- sectors and develop skills of students to meet industry
requirements.
To rejuvenate GTU-FSSC a team has been identified for overall development of this skill
council under the guidance of the Champion of the GTU - FSSC Dr. P.G.K. Murthy, Dean,
Faculty of Management, Gujarat Technological University and Professor and Director, Parul
Institute of Management and Research (formerly J K P I M).

Hence, you are requested to provide the details of faculty(s) having ‘Finance Specialization’
and teaching Finance related subjects in MBA program. This knowledge group shall be
responsible to activate GTU - FSSC at their respective institute. Details should be filled on or
before 23rd March 2014 by following link. This information will serve us to plan all the future
activities in GTU - FSSC.
