Student Startup Support System (S4)
S4 Boot-camp on building startups in mobility and internet space
Date: 23rd March 2014
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Venue: S4 co creation space, GTU’s Ahmedabad Campus (2nd floor, ACPC Building, LDCE
campus)
Who can apply: Engineering students of EC, CE and IT branches, MBA students aspiring to set
up start ups driven by technology and other GTU students working on developing apps or
products, based on mobile technologies; preferably no more than 2 teams (heterogeneous
blend of coders and others) per college
About the Workshop: S4 has been working to nurture student startups in action research mode
and S4 has succeeded in sensitizing the whole of the GTU community about entrepreneurship.
S4 has driven through various entrepreneurial processes from ideation workshops, idea fuel
workshop where participants got extremely delighted after working in the loop of design
thinking and leading up to venture design.
At this boot-camp, the students will be able to work with mentors and experts in executing the
process. This boot-camp is a sequel to the workshop of m23rd February 2014 (Please see
http://gtu.ac.in/Feb2014/Report-S4_wrkshp_on_building_startups_in_mobility_and_internet_space.pdf
for the workshop 23rd February 2014.) During the weeks after 23rd February, each team must
have developed the application (prototype). The bootcamp will provide to them an opportunity of
showcasing the application to an interested audience.
We also invite interested applicants who did not attend earlier events on 23rd Feb but who have a
prototype/ product by now with them. They are required to fill their details and stage in which they
have their product by now.

* This is a Boot Camp for students who are already working in Mobility and Internet Space. Projects
must be at prototype Level. S4 will nurture good mobile applications and support them in shaping
towards a start up. We will bring mentors and train each team during the boot camp. The team can
come with their developing team members. We will help them design business model plans and canvases
during these workshops. Some CEO's from mobile and IT industry have been invited and some of them
may join to mentor the teams during the boot camp.
