INVITATION TO JOIN CiC3
To build capacity in the student leadership and support innovation, GTU is E Student
Community Innovation & Co-Creation Centre (C-i-C3) at Gujarat Technology University,
Room No: 128, ACPC Building, L.D. Engineering College Campus, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad.
CiC3 aims to foster innovation, research and entrepreneurship among students. This is the
perfect platform for all hackers/makers/developers/students to showcase your skills, ideas,
passion and connect with the visionaries, industry experts who can mentor you and help
transform your ideas/projects into realities.
CiC3 will provide support to really innovative and research based idea with the necessary
resources and mentorship and to build that idea into a reality.
The primary objective of the centre will be:
 Inculcating design thinking and foster/promote the open source hardwire/software
Community in Gujarat.
 Provide students with the latest open source hardware boards and modules which
are in par with the industry standards.
 Assist students to create innovative and creative projects that solve real world
problems.
 Conduct local events like Hackathon/Workshop etc. to provide students a platform
for showcasing their talents
Fee Structure: GTU students are free to use any resources of Lab. No membership fee for
them at this time. For students other than GTU collages have to pay nominal fee of INR
300/month. Hobbiest/ Industrialist/ Makers / Passouts have to pay fee of INR 600/month.

Submission of Project Application Starts : 26th March, 2014
Log on to cic3.gtu.ac.in for submit your projects.
Deadline for first phase of project selection processor : 21st April, 2014
