Oracle Academy Programme - Developing IT Skills
5 days workshop on
(1) Java Fundamentals & Java Programming and
(2) Database Design and Programming with SQL
After a success of workshops of Alice 3 held at BISAG Gandhinagar in Oct, 2013 & on
Database design and programming with SQL in Nov, 2013 at BISAG Gandhinagar, Gujarat
Technological University is going to organize 5 days workshop with Oracle Academy.
Oracle proposes to work with Gujarat Technological University through the Oracle
Academy program to support government’s ongoing educational reforms and build human
capacity in the state.
Advanced Computer Science course is designed for university computer
science/Information Technology departments; this offering provides Faculties/students
with hands-on access to Oracle database and middleware software. They gain exposure to
Oracle’s world-class software, giving them a competitive advantage as they prepare to
enter the workforce.
From this workshop the faculty of the colleges will receive training from Oracle trainers,
thus, upgrading their professional skills and knowledge as well. This, in turn, will help
create a sustainable model wherein the skilled faculty will be able to take up future training
programs for the new faculty in future.
For this workshop registration of faculties from GTU affiliated Degree Engineering,
Diploma Engineering (CE/CSE/IT) are invited.
For this Workshop Diploma & Degree engineering faculty will have to register themselves
after getting permission of their principal and have to send scan copy of permission latter
with stamp and sign of principal to [email protected] to complete registration
process (Format for registration permission is attached herewith).
There is no fee for this workshop and participants will be provided refreshments and lunch
during training days.
*No TA/DA is given to participants for this course.
