Circular of Equivalency for Diploma Engineering
The students enrolled under old curriculum have to follow the old curriculum only for their
entire Diploma Engineering duration with following guidelines:
1) For the old courses (subjects) where equivalency is observed as per the equivalency
matrix (Comparative Study of old and new courses), the study/ learning of such courses
is to be clubbed with the classes/ laboratories run under new curriculum, and students
have to give the exam as per new curriculum.
2) In the case of courses where no equivalency is observed for the old courses the
arrangements of classes/ laboratories is to be done by the institutions to fulfill academic
criteria for his/ her study, and students have to give the exam as per curriculum.
The students enrolled under old curriculum will remain valid only for the duration of the
respective Diploma Engineering course validity period (as defined by the University) i.e.
double that the total duration.
