Six awards went to the students of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) out of 14 National
Awards in Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Awards
Six awards went to the students of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) out of 14 National Awards in
Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Awards lunched by Techpedia.in at sristi. Jury had received
over 5,000 entries from students of 45 universities across the country. Out of these entries, 14 best
ideas were awarded in three categories - Socially Relevant Technological Innovation Award, More-forLess-for-Many Award and Technological Edge Award. The competition received entries from 21 states in
the country. Multi Desire Wheelchair, LPG Refrigerator, Domestic Refrigerator cum Water Heater, Tiles
Measurement and Grade Classifying Equipment and Design and Synthesis & Evaluation of Novel
Steroidal Aromatase Inhibitors in Breast Cancer were amongst the innovators which won wider
appreciation by jury consisting of eminent Professors of IITs and Technology Universities outside India.
