BACKGROUND: The Councils of Deans have worked to create guidelines to ensure that students become
more
innovative
while
doing
their
final
year
projects.

experts, has designed a series of frameworks for systematic work on the final year project so that the
projects can be better designed and be innovative. These framework based activities will involve ways for
involving students through empathizing canvas, ideation canvas, product realisation canvas, prior art
search canvas, Patent drafting exercising canvas, business model canvas, valuation and technology transfer
canvas etc. We wish to integrate the above efforts in such a manner that every team will be able to
develop in an interactive learning environment, with the guidance of Professors and external industry
mentors.
THIS WORKSHOP: We are going to have hands-on sessions on various frameworks which are required at
the early stage of IDP/UDP so that students can become efficient problem solvers. These sessions will
include the various process and heuristics on ideation, product realisation etc. After these 2 day of handson capacity building program, the Coordinators will be able to guide the the current final year students
pursuing their IDP/UDP of their college so that they may be able to follow a systematic process for
achieving excellent results by using their time and facilities more efficiently.
All the Coordinators of the GTU Innovation Clubs of Degree Engineering colleges are required to participate
