Passing Criteria For M. Pharm
1. Every theory and practical component is divided into two parts i.e. Internal and External.
Internal exam for theory and practical is identified as CPE or Mid Semester exam (20%),
which is assessed by the internal college teacher.
2. Minimum marks for passing the examination:
A student shall not be declared to have passed in Master of Pharmacy in any semester unless
he /she secures at least 40% marks separately in Internal & External heads of each subject of
theory and practical. However the aggregate passing criteria shall be 50% to be declared pass.
Student has to reappear in exam to improve aggregate. He/she can take remedial exam in the
subject with grade (CC/CD) and fresh score will always be considered as the latest one.
3. Less than 40% marks in the subject (Theory and Practical) is failure and that has to be cleared
in remedial examination.
4. Student shall not continue his/her further study, if he/she is having more than four backlogs
irrespective of theory or practical failure only after the declaration of remedial exam result.
5. This should be implemented with effect from Summer 2013 examination for all the students.
