Sub: Fee waiver scheme of Oracle for GTU affiliated colleges (2nd Phase)
Gujarat Technological University is working with Oracle Academy for bringing Oracle Academy to
Gujarat; a large initiative supporting GTU affiliated institutions, students, and faculties in the
State in the coming years.
Oracle Academy (http://academy.oracle.com/) is a part of Oracle’s corporate citizenship efforts
and is mandated to support the educational institutions across the world with the latest
software, curriculum resources and professional development opportunities to the faculty with
an objective of equipping the Faculties and in turn students with skills and knowledge to help
them be successful in their future studies and workplaces. Currently, the program benefits over
1.5
million
Faculties
and
students
in
95
countries.
Advanced Computer Science course is designed for university computer science/Information
Technology departments; this offering provides Faculties/students with hands-on access to
Oracle database and middleware software. They gain exposure to Oracle’s world-class software,
giving them a competitive advantage as they prepare to enter the workforce. The membership of
Advanced Computer Science will help GTU affiliated institutions get the latest software at annual
fee of USD500 plus applicable taxes, which GTU affiliated college would be exempted by filling
up the Fee waiver Scheme form as per format given in Annexure 1.
Kindly do revert with the Scanned copy of the Fee Waiver Scheme Document, signed and with the college
Principal`s sign by the 16th August, 2014 and e mail to [email protected] . Please include the name
of the Computer Science/ Information Technology Head of the Department on the concerned field on the
document along with their contact information. Also, please place the order online by visiting
