REPORT:
Largest ever Final year Project Poster Exhibition across affiliated type universities in India
GTU students have participated in largest ever poster exhibition in our country. But it was
organized within the GTU system in a distributed manner. More than 6000 posters were displayed
based on the final year projects/IDP/UDP on May 2, 2014, though some of the Colleges were able
to do it in April 2014. Hundreds of industry mentors participated during this massive process to
mentor and appreciate students. While most of the engineering colleges have successfully
attempted this, we have received full report of such efforts of the colleges, in the table on page 2.
Student from more than 20 sectors participated during this process.
GTU had asked every affiliated colleges to do this process systematically through GTU Innovation

This process is an integral part of the academic process. Every college is required to publish the
report of their efforts towards this at their respective websites. GTU will publish those reports,
which might have significant novelty in approach, while implementing the idea.
GTU Innovation Club team members including faculty and student members should plan for such
celebration of innovation during 2014-15, well before the IDP/UDP ends and invite as many
possible industry experts to benchmark and comment on them. This initiative will increase the
industrial connectivity index of each college and department.
The GIC team is going through all the reports and finding the best innovations done in the process
to make it happen at pedagogy level. We will share the list of such interventions by all colleges so
that we can create lateral learning opportunity among each colleges. Every year the colleges may
innovate within the process to make such endeavor as a grand celebration of innovative and
creative minds.
The faculty coordinators who have coordinated such efforts may share their inputs and
suggestions to us at [email protected] so that we can make it better in every attempt.
