Workshop on Systematic Approach of Involving Design in Curriculum.
Gujarat Technological University is organizing a workshop for the faculty members
of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Degree Engineering institutes affiliated to
GTU.
Our guest for the workshop Prof. Sreenivasa Murthy served in IIT Delhi for more
than 41 years as Asst. Professor, Associate Professor, Professor and Head of EE
department before appointed as Vice Chancellor of the Central University of
Karnataka by the President of India, Visitor to the University. He is an
acknowledged international expert on Self Excited Induction Generators (SEIG) and
his work is a legend with several original contribution and break through on
Analysis, modelling, design, control and applications for standalone power
generation using, oil engines, Biomass, small hydro and wind.( He is the originator
of SEIG research in India and among the few in the world. In fact the acronym SEIG
for Self Excited Induction Generator was proposed by him).
GTU has introduced 'Design Engineering' for the students of B.E. from semester III
to VIII. Prof. Sreenivasa Murthy at Gujarat Technological University will address the
faculty members and enlighten the Participants on the systematic approach of
involving Design in curriculum. Faculties from Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
disciplines from GTU affiliated colleges are invited to register for the workshop
scheduled as per below mentioned details:
