To the faculty and final year BE students about
Patent Search and Analysis Report (PSAR) generation activity

Earlier this year, GTU had published a circular on GUIDELINES FOR THE FINAL YEAR B.E.
PROJECTS 2014 which is available at: http://www.gtu.ac.in/circulars/14Jul/07072014_01.pdf
The last date for team and project registration is 25.08.2014,
Monday at http://projects.gtuinnovationcouncil.ac.in/
According to above circular, all students have to do Patent Search and Analysis Report (PSAR)
generation activity in Phase II - 31st JULY 2014 to 15TH AUGUST.
During this Patent Search and Analysis Report (PSAR) generation activity, every student within a
team has to study at least 5 patents related either to his/her IDP/UDP or related to his/her area
of interest. Analyzed data of each of these five patents is to be submitted online once the
university declares the web link along with the project progress details at a due date to be
announced. Patent Search and Analysis Report (PSAR) are to be submitted online by 15th August
2014.
Currently our IT team is working on development of IT
platform for PSAR activity; once it is ready it will be launched
officially and declared via circular with full information and
also the dead line will be extended such that students can
finish the activity.
Patent Drafting Exercise (PDE) is such an activity, which is to be done at the end of project at
semester VIII ending. So do not fill anything at present in PDE web link available at:
http://projects.gtuinnovationcouncil.ac.in/
