Students Start-up Support System (S4)
Two days Boot Camp for Innovation in Mobile Applications
Venue-S4 Co-Creation Center (S4-C3), GTU Ahmedabad Campus, LDCE Complex
Date-30th & 31st August 2014
Time- 9.30 A.M to 5.00 P.M
To support the creative ideas in the mobility space and to help them take their innovations to
market, GTU Innovation Council has designed a series of efforts in the area of mobile
technology-based innovations. The interested students and participants can register

Students of any branch and year, the alumni and the faculty members are welcome.
We will select the best ones from the submitted ideas for participation in the boot camp. We
wish to harness the talent of 18,000 plus IT/CS/MCA students across GTU and help them
develop innovative mobile applications through a series of activities and support systems.

GIC provides handholding and development support to students who submit their innovative
ideas. For Mobile Applications and technologies:
GTU and Uninor have already declared awards to motivate such innovations through various

Board of Mobile and Wireless Technologies was established on 5th February 2011 (Reference:
http://www.gtu.ac.in/GTU_Mobile_Wireless_Technology.asp) and has been working actively.
On 9th November 2013, GTU started establishing Mobile and Wireless Technologies Clubs
(MWTC) at Colleges/ Institutes, affiliated with GTU so that regular activities in various aspects
of mobile technology might be organized all across the State. (Reference

S4 at GTU has designed a plan to take every innovative idea to product stage through a
series of innovative efforts and events.
