Principals / Directors/ Coordinators of all GTU affiliated colleges are hereby informed that the
students of Degree Pharmacy who have previously detained in semester II and are now eligible
to study as regular student in semester III have to study as per new syllabus implemented by
GTU from the academic year 2013-14.
Such students have been exempted from studying the subjects: Pharmaceutical Engineering
(2230002) (Theory and Practical) and Pharmacognosy (2230006) (Theory and Practical) in
semester III, however the students have to study the subject: Pharmaceutical Analysis I
(2210003) (Theory and Practical) in semester III. Moreover, in semester IV the students have
been exempted from studying the subject: Unit Operation II (2240001) (Theory and Practical)
whereas they have to study the subjects Pharmaceutical Analysis II (2220003) (Theory and
Practical) and Contributor Personality Development (1990001) in semester IV.
