of Technical Education, Gujarat State,
private aided trust and Private selffinancing trust/body. In Gujarat total
numbers of Diploma Institutes are 93
and the numbers of seats are
approximately 55,000. The Gujarat
Technological University is the largest
University in Gujarat and has, recently,
launched its new Diploma Curriculum. It
is based on the large industry survey
and different needs of Industry. Diploma
Engineering Institute has contributed in
the development of Gujarat State. Even
today,
the
Diploma
Engineering
Institutes are having great Importance in
Academics and Industries.

Recently, GTU has launched a new
required curriculum in various branches
of Diploma Engineering. Computer
Programming is an important subject of
Engineering. The result analysis of last
few years and the number of passing
students in this subject is alarming.
The present workshop is arranged for the
faculties to have an over-view of new
curriculum and to exchange the
Ideas/views of experienced faculties.
Even, we have new faculties in many
Institutes, from whom we may learn
innovative
ideas
and
creative
methodology of teaching. Moreover, we
share and synchronize the teaching
process, if necessary, for various types of
topics and sub-topics of the new syllabus.
We hope this will help to steer and
motivate the new century students, and
of course, the faculties, too.
