Polytechnic Diploma Institutes are,
basically, governed by Commissionerate
of Technical Education, Gujarat State,
private aided trust and Private selffinancing trust/body. In Gujarat total
numbers of Diploma Institutes are 93
and the numbers of seats are
approximately 55,000. The Gujarat
Technological University is the largest
University in Gujarat and has, recently,
launched its new Diploma Curriculum. It
is based on the large industry survey
and different needs of Industry. Diploma
Engineering Institute has contributed in
the development of Gujarat State. Even
today,
the
Diploma
Engineering
Institutes are having great Importance in
Academics and Industries.

Recently, GTU has launched a new
curriculum in various branches of
Diploma Engineering. Basic Engineering
Drawing is an important subject and also
known as the Language of Engineering.
All the branches have to study this
subject. The result analysis of last few
years, the number of passing students in
this subject is alarming.
The present workshop is arranged for
the faculties to have an over-view of new
curriculum and to have exchange the
Ideas/views of experienced faculties.
Even, we have new faculties in many
Institutes, from whom we may have
innovative
ideas
and
Creative
methodology of Teaching. Moreover, we
share and synchronize the teaching
process, if necessary, for various types of
Topics and Sub-Topics of the new
Syllabus. We hope this will help to steer
and motivate the New Century students’,
of course, the faculties, too.
We wish to achieve Lucid Learning
embedded with Better quality , Student
Centered Teaching-Learning process,
Enhanced Interest & Adoption by all
students and Groom the student for
better skilled Diploma Engineers.
