INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE:
EXPERT WORKSHOPS IN PHARMACY
during the RESEARCH WEEK – 2014
Time: from 3: 00 pm onwards
Venue: GTU Chandkheda campus, Ahmedabad
every day from Feb 20-March 6
(according to the Table on the next page)
Since 2013, GTU has been organizing the Research week during the months of Feb-March, to
review the progress of research carried out by Master’s and PhD students. Eminent researchers
from related fields examine the students and mentor them. This mechanism provides a platform
to students to get a deeper insight into his/her respective research area. During the period from
Feb 20 to March 6, a total of 1,612 students of M. Pharm and 71 students of PhD are going to
present the progress of their research work to experts from industries and academia from within
the state and from outside Gujarat.
On each day in the afternoon, the eminent experts discuss about recent trends in
their respective research domains in half-day workshops.
INVITATION: GTU cordially invites researchers, faculty members and students of pharmacy
from Pharmacy colleges as well as any other person interested in pharmaceutical research to
attend the workshops planned on a daily basis from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. There is no registration
Fee. The list of Experts and their topics are given on the next page. The list of workshops is also
available on our GTU web site. http://www.gtu.ac.in/ITD.asp. (It is possible that some more
workshops may be added. Please continue to see the web-site for an updated list of workshops.)
