Gujarat Technological University is pleased to announce the organization of a National Conference on
“Emerging Vistas of Technology in 21st Century” in collaboration with The Indian Journal of Technical
Education and Indian Society for Technical Education and supported by Parul Institute of Engineering &

Technology on 14 and 15 April 2012.
The objective of NCEVT'12 is to bring Researchers, Scientists, Engineers and Scholar Students together to
exchange and share their experiences, new ideas and research results in all major areas of Engineering and
identify the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted through presentations and discussions
of papers. The conference intends to encourage inventions, scientific investigations and research to promote
their application for development in all sectors of national economy. In addition, NCEVT'12 aims to serve as a
platform to promote the exchange of ideas between Industry and academia to equip them with the capability to
meet with the emerging challenges and changing requirements in the context of globalization and privatization.
GTU is glad to introduce a National Conference based on various themes in five branches of engineering
namely Green City in Civil Engineering, Futuristic Trends in Mechanical Engineering, Eco-Friendly
Communications in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Futuristic Trends in Electrical
Engineering and Revolutionary Trends in IT.
In this conference, plenary lectures will be delivered by researchers and academicians of repute. This National
Conference will also provide a platform for young researchers to present their contributions in the Emerging
Vistas of Technology.
Gujarat Technological University urges all the faculty members and post-graduate students to actively
participate in the conference. We invite all the researchers in this field to present their work at the conference.
Jointly we can make this Conference a first rate platform for mutually beneficial inter-action.
While the selected papers may be published in the Proceedings of the Conference, we are exploring the
possibilities of making the papers available on GTU's web-site.
