Message for BE – VI (Mechanical Engineering) Students

As a part its Global Initiative, Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has decided that our students
should have the opportunity to visit and study at an International University, during the summer for 8
weeks. University is in talk with universities in Canada and USA.
As soon as the details will be worked out with the universities of Canada and USA, the information
will be made available.
The requirements for applying for International experience program are as follows:

The Applications forms for top ranking students (based on their 5 semester CPI (having no
backlog) will be selected. The forms will be sent to colleges Principal/Directors soon as the result will
be declared. The deadlines for filling application forms will be sent separately
The students will be required to have passport for making an application to foreign university.

Rs. 1000 for normal application
Rs. 2500 for Tatkal application
Other expenditure details at the student end will be declared by GTU in the due course of time.
Please note: Applying for IEP will not ensure you a visa. After you have applied for IEP and
you are selected for it, you have to apply to concern Embassy to get Visa.
