Announcement of International Experience Program (IEP)
Message for BE (IT/CE), MCA, Pharmacy and MBA Students

As a part of its Global initiative, Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has decided that our students
should have opportunity to visit and study at an international university during the summer for 8 weeks.
GTU is working with universities in Canada and USA
As soon as the details are worked out and the results of the recent exams are available, the information
will be made available to all.
Selection Criteria
1. The applications forms for top ranking students based on highest CPI (having no backlog) will be
selected.
2. The forms will be sent to college principal/directors soon.
3. The deadlines for filling application forms will be announced on the website.
The students will be required to have passport for making an application to foreign university.
Please not that if a student does not have the passport he/she has to fill the application him/herself by

The government charges are
Rs. 1000 for normal application
Rs. 2500 for tatkal application
When a student participates in IEP, He/she has to pay for his/her air-ticket, visa fees, boarding and
lodging. The university will be paying all the expenses for teaching at the foreign university.
A note to students: Applying for IEP will not ensure you a visa. After you have applied for IEP and you
are selected for it, you have to apply to the concerned Embassy to get a visa.
