Report on Drawing Competition,
“Mahatma Gandhi & Safai”
As, our nation has identified the day of Mahatma Gandhi’s death on 30th
January as “Gandhi Nirvana Din”, Our honourable Chief Minister Anandiben
Patel had decided to arrange a Drawing Competition throughout the state as a
tribute to father of nation.
Our Institute was an active part of this mission and we had organized a
Drawing Competition in support of “Gandhiji Nirvana Din” on 30th January 2015
The theme for the Competition were “ MAHATMA GANDHI” and “SAFAI”.
The event started with emphasizing on the importance of the Principles of
MAHATMA GANDHI in today’s era by Chairman of institute Shri Shittal Agarwal,
Executive Director Prof. Janak Khandwala, Director Dr. Sweta Khandwala and
Principal Dr. Saurin Shah. They encouraged everyone to implement those
principles in their lives for the betterment of society.
On account of Martyrs day celebration we observed 2 minutes of silence in
memory of those who gave up their lives in the struggle for India’s freedom.
Every Individual took a pledge that they will remain committed towards
cleanliness and devote their time for this. Around 100 Participants were
instructed about the rules of the event by the co-ordinators and then after the
event started at Millennium Hall, B-Block.
All faculties and students have participated in the event enthusiastically
and made it a grand success.
