Tender copy will be available on submission of following documents :
(1) Application shall be made on latter pad of firm / vendor, along with tender fee of Rs. 1000/- In the form of D.D. of
Nationalized / Scheduled Bank in favour of Gujarat Technological University payable at Ahmedabad & other following
documents.
(2) Pan Card copy
(3) Tin / VAT / CST No. copy.
(4) Service Tax Registration No. copy.
Tender shall be summited as per below.
(1) In sealed cover & with write up, “Providing and fixing Vertical Blind Screens for window of GTU Chandkheda, Ahmedabad” &
Name & Address of Firm summiting the tender.
(2) Tender shall be summited along with earnest money deposit of Rs. 2000/- In the form of D.D. of Nationalized / Scheduled
Bank in favour of Gujarat Technological University payable at Ahmedabad.
Important Note 2 :
(1) Time of completion is 30 Days from date of work order
(2) The firm whose offer is accepted by GTU wouid have to deposit the sum of Rs. 5,000/- as a security deposit In the form of
D.D. of Nationalized / Scheduled Bank in favour of Gujarat Technological University payable at Ahmedabad. Which will be
refunded after 3 month of satisfactory completion of total work. EMD of Rs. 2000/- shall be adjusted against S.D. if the
agency agrees to do so.
(3) This notice will be part of agreement and the firm whose offer is accepted by GTU would have to enter in to the agreement
on a stamp paper of Rs. 100/- expidenture shall be born by the agency.
(4) Tender clause of B-1 Tender of R & B and specification as per R & B booklet shall be applied for the work.
(5) If the work will not be completed whiting 30 days than penalty of Rs. 180- per day for the period of delay shall be in imposed
according to B-1 Tender clause.

Building of GTU at Chandkheda, Ahmedabad.
1.0, Fabric for window shall be partly black
out and partly transulant (approx. ratio
80:20) respectively made form 100%
polyester fabric, dyed in fast colour with
protective coating & fusion with chemical for
stain resistance on both side colour, fabric,
pattern & quality as selected by GTU.
2.0, Headrail shall be of section 25mm high X
50mm wide – 1.2mm thick aluminum alloy
section with powder coating. Quality as
selected by GTU.
3.0, End control unit (Planatory reduction
gear box.) shall be of patent register
embossed mark on the parts. End control unit
should have state of art Planatory reduction
ratio of 3:5:1 for a very smooth operation of
the blind. Unit consist of a Planatory gear in
the outer housing, four small transmission
gears fitted in the middle assembly and
receiving gear attached to the central
sprocket unit. Quality as selected by GTU.
4.0, Carriear (Runner) Shall be made of Four
way moulded plastic having antifriction
additive. Aluminum rod should also of four
way. Quality as selected by GTU.
5.0, Tilter (Tilting) chain shall be made from
4.5 mm plastic beads moulded of 2.2mm
thick polyester cord. The pitch of the beads
shall be of 6mm. The chain drive of the
sprocket fixed in the end control unit to
rotate the louvers by 180 (Degree) The pitch
of the chain correspond to this sprocket in
perfect match for trouble free operation.

6.0, Tilt road is made of extruded aluminum
having four key ways. The tilt road is fixed in
the end control unit and drives the carrier
gear mechanism to rotate the louvers. Quality
as selected by GTU.
7.0, Spacer is made of moulded derlin having
anti friction additive. It helps in proper
spacing of the runners and ensures
overlapping of louvers for perfect light
control. Quality as selected by GTU.
8.0, Traverse cord braided of high strength
polyester fiber having flexibility, minimum
stretch and maximum abrasion resistance.

9., Approximate Nos. and size of screen is as
below. (1) 80” X 60” – 62 Nos. (2) 57” X 60” –
13 Nos.

Rate is inclusive of all material making of
screen as above fixing the same over the
windows as directed by GTU including making
the hole for clamps fixing by screws, all
labour, hardware, freight, all taxes
whatsoever

Including one year free maintenance service
including parts. Actual size of the screen shall
be measured as per execution and paid
accordingly. Qty. shall be measured in Sqm.
and amount shall be paid accordingly. All the
sample of materials shall be approved by GTU
before start of work. The agency will follow
accordingly.
