two or more concerns in which an individual is interested as a proprietor andl or a
partner shall tender for the execution of the same work. If they do so, all such tenders
shall be liable to be rejected.

to 12:00 p.m.

7. Gnderers are advised to visit the site sufficiently in advance of the date fixed for
submission of the tender. A tenderer shall be deemed to have full knowledge of all the
relevant documents samples, site etc; whether he inspects them or not.
8. SuLmission of a tender by tenderer implies that he has read this notice and all other
contract documents and has made himself aware of the scope and specification of the
work to be done and of conditions and rates at which stores, tool and plant etc. will be
issued to him, by Guiarat Tehnological University and local conditions and other

factors bearingon the execution of the works.
9. A tenderer should quote in hgures as well as in words the rate(s) tendered. The amount
for each item should be worked out and the requisite total given. Special care shall be
taken to write rates in figure as well as in words and the amounts in figure only and in
such a way that interpolation is not possible. The total amount shall be written both in
figures and in words. In case of figures the words Rs. Should be written be fore the
figure of rupees and the word 'paisa' after decimal f,rgure.e.g. Rs.2.15p. and in case of
words the words 'Rupees' should preceed and the words 'paise' should be written at
the end. Unless the rate is in whole rupees and followed by the word 'only', it should
invariably be upto two places of decimal'
All rates shall be quoted on the tender form.

guidance of the contractors" printed in this form.
The tender shall be accompanied by earnest money of Rs.5000 by D.D. of
Nationalised/Scheduled bank issued in favour of Gujarat Technological University
payable at Ahmedabad.No exemption certificate will be accepted.
A tenderer shall submit the tender r.vhich satisfies each and every condition laid down
