GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE TENDER
The tenderer should submit the tender documents in hardcopy with Technical bid & Financial Bid
in separate sealed cover namely “Tender to Supply, Install and Maintain SEQRITE Endpoint Security
6.2 Total Edition with 3 year Paper License” on Date:31.10.2015 up to 6.10 PM at below address :

Roads, Visat - Gandhinagar Highway Chandkheda, Ahmedabad – 382424 - Gujarat.
(1)The interested tenderer may give their rate in financial bid in separate sealed cover.
(2) The Financial bid of only those bidders who successfully qualifying in technical criteria, under
technical bid will be opened.
(3) Hard copy of the tender should also contain original copy of Tender documents duly signed
and stamped in token of having read and understood all terms and conditions and implications
thereof. It should also contain Technical Bid along with copy of all required document and proof.
(4) Tender document received late/incomplete without requisite papers and Demand Draft for
tender fee and EMD shall be summarily rejected.
(5) The whole requirement will be treated as one package for arriving at lowest tendered cost.

(6) The Tender document and other document (as per Annexure-II) signed and stamped by
tenderer are submitted with technical bid.
(7) It is mandatory to indicate the full name, make/ brand, model number, and detailed
specifications of the item quoted by them, (in addition, a brochure of product information may
also be attached.) Tenderers also have to indicate clearly the Name, Address, Website / E-mail
address if any and all Contact number of the MANUFACTURING FIRM of the items quoted by
them.
(8) Terms of Payment: 100% total order value will be released on the satisfactory report of
verification / installation of the material by Gujarat Technogical University aagainst the
bill/Invoice.
(9) No tenderer shall withdraw his tender after the tender is opened. If a tenderer does so, his
EMD shall be forfeited and such tenderer shall be considered ineligible for also future.
(10) Any litigation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court at Ahmedabad only.

(11) Guarantee / Warranty period should be clearly mentioned.
(12) Maximum rebate / discount to the Education Institution, if any, may be mentioned.
(13) Gujarat Technological University does not pledge himself to accept the lowest tender and
reserves the right to accept whole or part of the tender or portion of the quantity offered.
(14) Authorization : The certificate as to effect that Bidder is an authorized agent/ dealer of
manufacturer should be attached.
(15) Tenderer will have to give an undertaking that all terms and condition of the
acceptable to him.

(16) Details of service centres in Gujarat/Ahmedabad should be mentioned.
(17) Successful tenderer will have to supply/ install the quoted model within 30 days.
(18) The Financial bid will be evaluated on the basis of the total cost as quoted in the financial
bid. The rate should be quoted for each unit as specified in the specification otherwise bid are
liable to be rejected.
(19) The successful tenderer shall be required to furnish/deposit Bank performance guarantee
from any nationalized bank @ 10 % of the cost of the items to be purchased in favour of
Gujarat Technological University within ten days of the receipt of the order. If the tenderer
fails to comply with the above requirements within the said period the earnest money
already deposited by him/ them shall be applicable for forfeiture and the University shall
purchase the items required at the risk and cost of the successful tenderer.
