The Gujarat Technological University invites item rate tender in Schedule-B form in sealed cover from the
registered agency doing the same type of job.
Name of work: Supplying and Fixing/Installation of different type of signage boards for the prestigeous
event of convocation-2016 for Gujarat Technological University, Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College,
Chandkheda, Ahmedabad.
Venue of event: Gujarat Technological University campus, Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College,
Chandkheda, Ahmedabad-382424.
Date of event: 28th January 2016
Nature of work: Flex banner/printed different type signage board
Estimated amount of work: Rs.1,65,860/Last date of issue of blank tender: 29/12/2015 up to 18:00 P.M. along with application form on letter pad
with required documents
Last date of submission of tender: 02/01/2016 during office hours by registered post/speed post/courier/in
person only up to 18:PM
Date of opening tender: 04/01/2016 at 12:00 o’ clock.
Address of receiving and submission of tender: Purchase Department, C-103, Office of GTU admin
building, Campus of Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College, Sabarmati-Koba Highway, Nr. Visat Three
Roads, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad-382 424.
Tender Fee: Rs.1000/- in form of Demand Draft of nationalized/scheduled bank in the name of Gujarat
Technological University payable at Ahmedabad.
E.M.D.: Rs.1700/- in form of Demand Draft of nationalized/scheduled bank in the name of Gujarat
Technological University payable at Ahmedabad.
Security Deposit: The contractor/agency whose offer is accepted will have to pay the security deposit of
Rs.8300/- in form of Demand Draft of nationalized/scheduled bank in the name of Gujarat Technological
University payable at Ahmedabad.
Time period of completion of work: So as to plan that the work is completed on or before 27th January
2016 up to 14:00 P.M.

(2) Certified copy of VAT/TIN/ST NUMBER.
(3) Copy of PAN card/Proof of address of business.

Instructions and Conditions:
(1) Blank item rate tender, Schedule-B, Measurement sheet will be supplied to the interested party who
have given the application on printed letter pad with tender fee.
(2) Time is the essence of the project. GTU will not compromise regarding quality and workmanship of
the work. The work is inclusive of preparing the signage boards with material-labour to supply the
same to the spot of requirement and fixing/installation/laying/fabricating the same as and where
directed before 27thJanuary 2016 up to 14:00: P.M. If the work will delayed and not be completed so
as to suffer the event then entire security deposit/Earnest money will be forfeited and he will be
blacklisted for any future work of GTU.
(3) The registrar of GTU does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender or to give any reasons
for the decision. He is having the right to accept or to reject any or all the tenders without giving
reasons.
(4) The notice of tender and terms and conditions shall form the part of the contract of document
(5) The contractor/agency will have to entered into agreement on stamp paper whose offer is accepted
(6) 1% of bill amount will be recover for labour cess. Over and above TDS.
(7) The very good quality material as per specification of Schedule-B will be used for the work.
(8) Rates to be quoted shall be inclusive of all material, hardware, labour, fabrication, fixing, freight, all
taxes, safe storage of material and equipment's, scaffolding/staging if required
(9) This notice and memorandum of work is available on GTU website, www.gtu.ac.in under tender
option.
