Circular
All the institutions are hereby informed to implement the following subject to approval by the
authority,
1. The students who have already cleared the subjects of Semester I and II of D. E., GTU shall be
exempted from the study and exam for the corresponding subjects.
2. The students who have studied the subjects but have not cleared the subject shall be exempted
from the study but have to clear the relevant subjects.
3. The failure in the bridge course subjects shall not be considered as the backlogs for detention, the
award of diploma to the students shall only be done on clearance of the bridge courses.
4. The continuous evaluation system shall be implemented at the institute level for the bridge
course for the academic year 2013-14.
5. The end semester examination of bridge courses will be conducted by the university through
offline MCQ based system.
6. The bridge course shall be offered as per Distance Learning Mode (DLM) philosophy. The
students shall be charged fees as per DLM and the remuneration to the faculties also as per the
DLM.
7. The students penalized under UFM as per GTU rules shall not be enrolled under C2D mode.
