CIRCULAR
Sub:- Affiliation fees of students and affiliation processing fee/extension of affiliation
inspection fee of institutions to GTU
It
has been informed by the Registrar, Gujarat Technological University (GTU),
Ahmedabad that Section 7 (XIX) of Gujarat Act No.2012007 empowered GTU to fix,
demand and receive/recover fees and other charges from the affrliated institutions as may
be prescribed by GTU. It is further informed that the Finance Committee of GTU in its
meeting held on 4* January,2013 considered and approved the revised fee structure for
af@iation for the year 2013-14. Accordingly, the affiliated colleges, irrespective of
whether they a.re government, GIA or SFI shall have to pay GTU Rs.300/- aJfiliation fees
per enrolled student of all the years and Rs.25,000/- being extension of affiliation fees for
every year.

Considering the said demand of GTU, it has been decided that all Government engineering
colleges, Polytechnics and Pharmacy Colleges shall have to pay Rs.300/- per student as
affrliation fees and Rs.25,000/- as affiliation processing fee/extension of affiliation
inspection fee to GTU from the cunent academic year.
Accordingly and as per the instructions, heads of all Government engineering colleges,
Polytechnics and Pharmacy Colleges in the State, affiliated with GTU, are hereby
informed to pay Rs.300/- per student as affrliation fees, by collecting the same from the
enrolled students and Rs.25,000/- as affrliation processing fee/extension of affiliation
