In accordance with the provision no. 26, 27 and other related provision of Gujarat Act no-20/2007, Gujarat Technological
University invites affiliation application for the academic year 2016-17 from colleges/institutions/affiliated for 2015-16 or from
proposed New colleges/institutes. The application form, procedure of application, fees structure of affiliation and other
related information are available on GTU website http://www.gtu.ac.in/affiliation.asp For Login : http://affiliation.gtu.ac.in
a) Extension of Affiliation.
b) Setting up new technical institute/campus
c) Increase in intake in existing courses only for valid NBA
accredited Courses.
d) Adding New courses in existing institutions having valid
NBA accredited courses.
e) Closure of programme/course/Institution.
f) Change of Site / Location
g) Introduction / Continuing seats for sons / Daughters of NRI
h) Change of name of Institute.
i) Conversion of Women’s institution into Co- Edu.
Institutions and Vice-Versa
j) Introduction of Integrated Courses in existing
institutions having valid NBA accredited courses.
k) Reduction in intake
l) Introduction of Twining Programms.
m) Introducing / Continuing supernumerary seats for
PIO / FN
n) Introduction of Fellowship program in Management
in existing insti. having valid NBA accredited courses
 Last date of receiving application is : 21/02/2016.
 Online Application must be submitted with all necessary documents and applicable affiliation fees in the form of e-payment

application received after the last date of submission in any case.

N.B. : 1. Before submission of application, kindly read AICTE Process handbook 2016-17, Regulation of AICTE-2012 and GTU
Instruction thoroughly.
2. If any institute/ campus is submitting an application for a new programme/ Course, the syllabus for which has not yet
been designed by GTU, it must seek a clear NOC from GTU before applying to GTU.
