Workshop Report on
Scilab
As per the guidelines of Honorable Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Technological University Dr. Akshai
Aggrawal, with the blessings and vision of P.P. Tyagvallabh swamiji and support and encouragement of
Principal Dr. G. D. Acharya, we, at Atmiya Institute of Technology & Science, Rajkot, Gujarat had set up
Open Source Technologies Club (OSTC) at the institute in collaboration with Team Spoken-tutorial, IIT
Bombay. We conducted one workshop on SCILAB for faculty members of the institute at 22 nd august,
2013 followed by the online test conducted on 18th September, 2013.
On 25th September, 2013, at AITS,Rajkot we had organized and successfully completed another
workshop on SCILAB, which was held for PG students of the institute. The PG students of Electronics &
Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation & Control Engineering of the
1st semester participated in this workshop. Total 55 students had participated in this workshop with full
enthusiasm.
